(no subject)
This weekend has been really good. Work on Saturday was ridiculously short, I started at 5 and then Gaz said I could go at 10 because there was no point in having 2 of us doing a close since it was dead and we'd already finished with the important stuff (like stock counting). So naturally I stayed for a drink, and for a change EVERYONE who finished did as well, so we pretty much had a staff night out. It was pretty awesome, and the first time there's been that many of us in quite a while. We went to Head of Steam and did crazy dancing (think stack the shelves, row the boat, push the shopping trolley, etc). It was really good to just be silly, I haven't laughed so much in ages. Then we ended up going to Eddie's house when the bars closed and watching Buffy til about 5am. The musical episode rules.
Yesterday was spent cleaning the house a bit, napping a bit more and chilling more than anything. Lisa, Suze and I had chinese takeaway together for dinner, then they went out again since it's freshers week. I chose bath and bed, go me!
Today I'm going shopping for various things before work, including lightbulbs, sawdust for the gerbils, toothpaste and maybe even some new clothes. We'll see what there is to be found.
And once at work I have to sort out GPs on various forms of cheap alcohol and see if we can make £1.50 a drink financially viable...
