(no subject)
Our new house is AWESOME :-D it felt like home from the first second we walked in, and now everything's sorted properly, well it's just perfect. Everyone who comes to see it really likes it too. And it's so nice to live with nice people. Yesterday Suze text me just to ask what time I was coming home from work so she could cook us all dinner. THIS is what it's SUPPOSED to be like!
We've spent this morning slowly working through our (rather large) to do list - so far I have paid the water bill, registered the change of address for water, registered change of address with tax office (and spoke to a very nice man who got me a further £80 in tax refund - I think I love him a little bit), got our landlord to sort the garden out, redirected the boys' post, tried to sort my deposit out with stud lets after they sent it to the wrong address (they said "it'll be a couple of days", but we've all heard that one before!) and set up a tv/broadband package whcih should hopefully start on thursday. What an incredibly producitve day off! Now I just need to go buy some food, make a doctors appointment, make a hair appointment and then meet Jenny for steak night at lloyds. Woop.
Work is going really well, went on a really useful supervisor-related course last week and management shifts are pretty cool. And working on the bar is well fun. It's good to have proper support from various people too :-)
