Doing my job well.
Feeling like an older sister to people I haven't known very long, and being told they love me because I have real conversations with them.
Cocktails, whether it's drinking them or making them.
Banana cake (but oddly, nothing else banana flavoured).
Clean washing (but not when all the clothes I want to wear are wet).
Good grammar (though I also like the guilty pleasure of leaving out capitals when typing).
I find it a nice thing, to write lists of what makes me happy every now and again. It's good to acknowledge all the little things that make me appreciate life, and they also make good reading when I rediscover very old ones.
