Cata regains the knack of traveling in fairly short order, all things considered. The next town she reaches, she heads for the local Frothing Otter - and actually gets into it, this time - and decides to watch the people, after she has dinner. The town is still recovering from all the recent sweetness and light just as much as she is, which comes as something of a relief.

She just watches the crowd for a while, then decides to follow someone for a bit. She just wants to see if she still can, and work out how much she's got to recover before she's capable of taking assignments again. Besides, it'll be a bit of an adventure. With that in mind, she calls on the fire.
(the fire's out anyway)
Nothing happens.

Cata panics, for a few moments, before pausing and trying to think the situation over rationally. The fire can't be entirely gone; she remembers noticing how unnatural the extended daylight was, which means her timesense, at least, is still intact. It's only logical that most of the rest of it would have been suppressed by Mizzamir's whitewashing spell.

Still, she was hoping she wouldn't have to do this much work to get her livelihood back.
