Getting Better?
Opi is in a rehabilitation home, aka nursing home, about 15 miles from the lake house. Everyone is happy that he is out of the hospital, but no one is happy that this is where he has to be. and even after they release him from the home, he might still need full time care at the house. Mom is taking it hard, and who can blame her? She checked her father into a nursing home today. But spirits in general are up...
The house is still slow going. rooms are ready to prime, which I am about to head out to do. the window is just about done too! Fabulous! The plumber is coming by to check the boiler and give me hot water - yay! And we move on Thursday. Less than half the house is packed up, but like my dad said, we're not going far so the packing job doesn't have to be perfect.
I have my history of sound film midterm tonight - meeting my peeps at 3:30 for food and cramming. Test at 5:30.
Well, I should run. Shit to do....
