I'm looking into Drexel now, as well as EVMS... but finding that I'll have to take a bunch of art classes before I even think about applying there, which seriously changes my timeline (by about a year). What I'm thinking I'm going to do is get everything in order to apply to EVMS, as well as start to take a few art classes at Millersville or HACC, and then take my GRE's. Once the scores come back, and I'm pleased with them, I submit my application to EVMS, and once I'm far enough along in my art classes, then I can also apply to Drexel (unless EVMS accepts me first). We'll see how well this works. So. Portfolio and writing sample are goals one and two (simultaneous), and I'll work on getting into a summer art class ASAP. I'm hoping that won't be too big of an issue, considering I already have my bachelors, and I just need to add on a few credits. I'm just concerned that Millersville will want to see an art portfolio in order for me to enroll in any art classes to begin with. Bah. These little hang-ups have me nervous. I need to put them out of mind until they actually become issues instead of inventing possible issues to become roadblocks. Grr. Ah, well. Update #3 should be coming along soon enough... once I get a call back from the M-ville art dept. secretary.
Till then.....
