Thanksgiving? Next week? ALREADY‽ This month is passing way too quickly for my liking.
At least I have good news for the moment: internet access is mine once again! OH, THANK THE LORDS. Of course, now I've grown accustomed to not using it while home, so browsing listlessly has somewhat lost its appeal, but everything's been so crazy that it's hard to simply find the time, anyway.
That, and immersing myself in the world of Bone when not at work.
I won't reveal too much at this point, since
Jamie and
Robert have yet to read it, and it is their copy (it was acquired for a sweet deal at the Austin Comic Con, and they let me borrow it for the week). I'm half-way through and savoring as much as I can, because I don't want it to end! So much love for the Bone cousins. THERE WILL AND SHALL BE ICONS! Or something. If this monolith of a 1k+ page book wasn't epic enough, the story itself is even moreso. I wasn't really sure what to expect when I started reading, but so far it's meriting two thumbs up from my side.
Ever since the convention, the motivation to set out on reading comics from my mental "To Read" list has been renewed, because...well, being a fledgling to the comic world, and basking in sheer comic-y glory for three days straight has that effect on a person, I guess!
Now I'm being whisked away to a midnight premiere of Breaking Dawn...something that will also have another effect, but probably of the unwanted kind. Hey, at least Amity's paying for it! I'm sure my IQ will pay for it too...
