it's that time of the month (for an entry)
Er, hello. I had this all typed up & saved on a word processor until LJ was working. QUICK QUICK BEFORE IT GOES DOWN AGAIN.
Needless to say, I've been more active on Tumblr lately and currently reviving my DA page (gasp!). I still plan on using LJ (if it behaves), but perchance for more personal, life-updatey ramblings. Sometimes I consider going friends-only, but there's less than a handful of people who actually read this, haha. Basically, this journal is for self-assurance and a reminder of my very existence!!! Plus, I forget things (like last Thursday night) and like talking to myself.
Here is a little to-do list that needs to be done. I have borrowed things from friends and plan to return them!
-Complete playing SMT : Devil Summoner (vidgame)
-" " Phoenix Wright: T&T
-Finish reading Last Chance to See
Those are clearly my abridged priorities at the moment. You do not want to see the unabridged. Everything else can just SIT DOWN, by God.
So, right. I'm drawing again, and hopefully over that dry spell which lasted forever. I'm not even sure how it happened! I decided to stop fretting and just "let go" as they say. Without the help of meds, too (this is a Big Thing)! Art in itself is a bit like therapy to me, anyway. I totally zone out. Catharsis is neat. Also fandom.

Let's just hope the story lives up to the one I've got forming in my head.

I should try to get my scanner working. It's a hassle to capture the right lighting for the colors to look as they do in person.
Digressing...I finished my Taiko class a couple weeks ago and miss it dearly. They started up another session this weekend due to the huge response, but I decided it's in my best interest to direct my funds elsewhere for the time being. No worries, though. I'm sure I'll find some other way to make some sweet beats.
