a new year, a new beginning
HELLO ALL!
The New Year's party was a blast. This has been the first time I've ever actually done anything for New Years in...a very long time. I usually just stay at home by myself and watch the ball drop in Times Square. The cupcakes seemed to be a hit, and everyone liked my grasshopper drink, which makes me happy. :) Sometimes I think it would be cool to be a bartender, but I like the more classy aspect of it, the suited gentleman behind the bar cleaning glasses with a crisp linen cloth. You get the idea.
Remember when I used to post art? Let me try doing that again:

This is just a slice of my new years resolutions--to finish and upload more art! I have smatterings of concepts and scribbles littering any paper that has enough room for it, laying around my room, even at my desk at work. I just need to meld these ideas together so they become whole and not some drifting thing that will never fully exist. I have a few story ideas that I may turn into a short comic-ish thing later on, or maybe more along the lines of a children's book. Messenger birds during WWIII...would that be appropriate for childs idk
Whatever this year has in store for me, and my family, I can already tell it will be better than last year. I am grateful that the worst is now over, and I finally have a feeling of relief that I have not felt in a long time.
