RP: What's for dinner?

She always did this to herself. Having had the whole day off, Lisa overestimated her available time. She'd had a nice leisurely trip to market this morning, picking up fresh veggies and chicken, and then proceeded to spend half the day reading and the other half telling herself she had 'plenty' of time to start cooking. Until she became so absorbed in her book that she didn't look up at the clock until half four and realize with a start she still needed to shower before she could even begin to prepare the meal.
Thankfully, she'd decided what to wear ahead of time. Jeans, she thought - better to go casual for a meal in. She dried her hair and dressed and headed to the kitchen to start dinner, only to hear a knock at her door.
Oh, well. Nothing for it. Maybe Zach would think it was fun to cook together. She hoped he'd eaten a late lunch.
