After dinner, Harry said he planned to head for the common room to get some more Potions revision in before bed tonight. Ron, on the other hand, had something he wanted to attend to first.
His conversation with Hermione and Harry last night had been sticking its bloody nose into his thoughts all day as he'd tried to revise, and he knew he'd not be able to concentrate further until he at least sent George an owl. You know, to get things going.
So when they returned to the tower, Ron came straight up to the dormitories instead of lingering in the common room. He tossed his robes over his bed and chewed on a quill as he contemplated the best way to approach his brother.
Dear George ~
Hope all is well with you. I realized today that it's been a while since your last owl, and I hope it's just because business has you jumping.
I have something I need to talk about with you, and it's sort of important. Is there any way we could have a conversation through the Floo network sometime this week? I could stay up late or get up early so that we could use the fireplace in the common room and still have some privacy.
