Ron -- for once -- had nothing to do.
He'd finished his reading, and was thoroughly finished with notes; in fact, he hoped desperately that he'd never have to look at them again. The paper about field potions had finally been sent in, with somewhat depressing results: he'd stood out little in the end, and nobody had had much to say about his arguments. It wasn't really a surprise, but ... Well, maybe he'd sort of hoped things would be different.
But they weren't --
As usual. Mostly.
He hadn't bothered about Megan yet, either. There'd been enough advice and enough time to think, but there was something that made it hard for him to admit what he'd learned. He wasn't entirely sure he'd even learned it, really; it was something that made him even more tired than the end of the day usually did, and for that reason today Ron had nothing to do. Not because there was nothing, but because he wanted nothing from his day.
And it was all right.
