Parkinson Studio and Fantasy Fashions in Knockturn Alley became the latest victim of the burglaries last night resulting in the capture of one of the perpetrators involved.
According to Ministry Press Secretary Mary McDonald, the four perpetrators entered the design studio through what appeared to be an unlocked window when the final assailant was trapped by the wards set up around the perimeter.
"Three of the four entered successfully, but the last one was hit with a hex, leaving the assailant both paralyzed from the waist down and suffering from hallucinations," McDonald said.
A close source at the Ministry said the ward was not a protective one in the traditional sense, but one that was used by followers of You-Know-Who.
Pansy Parkinson, former muggle model Niky Parks, refused to comment on the allegations on the use of dark magic before Aurors whisked her away for questioning.
Finding one of the perpetrators involved is a great step forward in finding the rest of the robbers, Department of Magical Law Enforcement Head JJ Simon said.
Despite the capture of one of the men involved, the condition he currently in, sent him to St. Mungo's in order to be examined by a healer. There is no word on whether or not he will recover from the ward attack and be able to provide names of his accomplices, according to McDonald.
Simon continued with they hope to use the one suspect to discover the identities of the other three.
"We will still need witnesses to step forward when the time comes for prosecution," Simon said. "We cannot convict without evidence beyond a reasonable doubt."
