There are wolves among us. Yes, that is correct there are wolves among us. Over the last few months, the British Wizarding community has been focusing on these robberies that have plagued Diagon and Knockturn Alley, but has anyone notice the attacks?
Near the southern shore areas of Britain there have been at least two women attacked, suffering from claw and bite marks. Werewolf, anyone? Yes, the infamous Fenrir Greyback was killed seven months ago, but he was not born a wolf. There are others, some he himself turned.
It is just shocking how attacks like these have gone over looked. Even the splinching accidents that are not splinching accidents made the front page. Have werewolf attacks become so common that it is not even news anymore? Those two women were about ripped in half and there was barely a mention of them in the paper.
Granted based on the wounds alone, there is no concrete evidence that the two victims were attacked by werewolves. However, those attacks coincided with the full moon, which logical tells the members of the wizarding community that there are wolves attacking.
As the full moon approaches within the next fortnight, we need to be watchful. We need to keep our eyes focused on the threat that comes once a month and we need to alert the authorities, no matter how thin they appear.
