The body of Abigail 'Almude' Bobbin was discovered today in a field outside of Oxford.
Bobbin, a cousin by marriage to Andrew 'Aeon' Bobbin and Horace 'Hobbus' Bobbin, owners of the well known chain of apothecaries called Slug and Jiggers, was discovered this morning by a pair of muggles out for a morning jog.
According to Ministry Press Secretary Mary McDonald, Bobbin was found split in half as if she had an accident while apparating.
"Evidence concludes that she did not splinch herself," she said. "As with the body from Whilshire, there are apparent cut marks along the separation."
Bobbin worked in the back room of the Oxford Slug and Jiggers and had no enemies according to her cousin Horace.
"She was a real sweetheart and wonder potion brewer; she will not be easy to replace at the shop," Horace said.
While there were know other sighs of trauma to the body, McDonald cautioned the public not to jump to conclusions.
"On the surface is does not appear as if these two died as a result of foul play, the ministry is still investigating," she said.
McDonald went on, reminding everyone to use caution and only apparate with a clear head.
"Until such time the cause of death can be determined, we ask that everyone to use the Apparition Zones and be careful when apparating."
