RP: Picnic

Summary: Cho and Hermione continue their book club.

Cho was glad she'd arrived early.
The sun was out -- luckily -- and it was nice to simply sit and do nothing after coming home from symphony. She'd been indoors all day, basking in artificial light, and it was beginning to weigh a little on the parts of her that dreamed of daily flight. Though she had been out on a broom quite often lately -- practising with great intent -- it wasn't ever enough, and she'd always been the sort of person to enjoy being outdoors, even if only for the sake of enjoying it. Anyway, people were out, and children were playing, and Cho was mostly having a wonderful day.
She'd brought a blanket to sit on, and a sunhat to shield her eyes with, and several books Hermione might find interesting. There was the little wireless, too... and Cho would have brought food, but lately she hadn't been eating very much at all, not even of the things she bothered cooking. It had to be something like nerves -- that was always the case with her. Too much thinking. She tended to worry without realising that that was what it was.
Fortunately it wasn't easy to worry about much of anything, sitting out here. Cho wasn't usually one for waiting, but today she found she didn't mind at all.
