Melinda closed the shop 30 minutes early that day, leaving a note to customers, apologizing for inconvenience, but anyone picking up, had their potions owled to their residences. She knew it was against store policy to do that, but she had to change and make it to muggle London to meet Blaise before taking him to the nightclub.
Once the store was closed, she ran upstairs and put on a pair of black boots that laced up to her knees, a black skirt and simple white blouse. Picking up her guitar case, she strolled out of the flat and down the street toward the Leaky where she waved to Tom and headed into muggle London. Since it seemed like their 'thing', she headed to the shop he took her to on Valentine's Day to wait for him.
