Luna had been rather excited when she learned that her initial Mermish lessons were actually coming in the form of memories -- it was definitely an interesting approach -- but when the 'lessons' arrived, she still gave them an odd look. A series of labelled vials. Which meant she was definitely lacking something, and that something was probably going to put a dent in her wallet. Idly waving her owl away from the silvery contents of the package, Luna briefly assessed her finances and how much of an investment it would actually be. Even if she didn't use it again after this, she could always sell it on.
An hour later -- with as frayed a temper as she would ever manage; Borgin and Burke's was not a pleasant establishment -- she was Levitating her newly acquired ('in excellent condition; not even cursed; no, those runes are usually there; we have a stand in stock as well if you're interested') Pensieve home with a slightly frustrated frown. It was heavy. Really heavy. And Mr. Borgin seemed to find it hilarious that she was carrying it on her own.
She hoped she didn't knock anyone out with it. That would be unfortunate.
