“Are you really?” She asked, amused. “Well, even so, big boys need their warmth, bab-I’m sorry, my little big man.” She told him, kissing his forehead before bundling him up. “Ready to go?” She asked, scooping him up and kissing his cheek.
“Yup.” Teddy said happily, sticking his fist in his mouth.
“I really wish that you wouldn’t do that,” Athena said shaking her head as he gave her a cute shrug. Since Hermione had opted out of being her ‘date’ (she loved annoying Charlie), then Teddy was going to have to be it, though, she was sure he’d charm the pants off of everyone there.
Athena tickled him a bit as they stepped into the fire, heading to Shell Cottage. Athena stepped out and used her wand immediately to clean them off as Teddy giggled at the mess. She went in search of the Git a.k.a. Bill and instead found Molly, who nearly smothered Teddy with affection, Athena didn’t blame her, woman was probably near dying for a grandchild. She really hoped that she didn’t start in on her about one.
It took her less than two minutes. “Oh, Molly, I think I see Charlie and Bill outside, Teddy hasn’t seen Charlie in ages, he’s been asking for him, I’ll be back soon.” She gave her a kiss on the cheek and hurried with Teddy outside, not feeling guilty for using him to get away from Molly.
“Unca Charwie!” Teddy announced happily, seeing him, squirming to get out of Athena’s grasp.
“Jeez, child, you see him and suddenly I don’t exist?” She teased, setting him on the ground, watching as he ran over, being sure to have her wand ready just in case he got curious and ran off.

"Hullo, love." Charlie kissed Athena's cheek, having noticed his mum looking out the kitchen window. He didn't like to snog her too senseless in front of the child anyway. He reckoned it was going to be a full time job keeping the tyke out of the bonfire and sea, two things designed to attract a child's attention.

Athena ruffled Charlie's hair a bit. "Hello love." She told him with a smile, kissing his cheek. "Know any leash charms to keep him still?" She teased.
"No, big boy be good." Teddy said, bouncing a bit.
Athena laughed. "Surprisingly, he's telling the truth. He's been a good boy all weekend. Said he was going to take care of me and my 'owwie'," she bit her lower lip to keep from laughing at the memory, he had been a bit too precious for his own good.
Teddy nodded. "Attie owwie." He confirmed.
"Yes and because he was such a good boy, he got chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, I figured he'd burn the sugar off by running around. I hate to agree with your mum, but another one of these running around would give him someone to entertain himself with. I'm going to suggest it to Percy later, in front of your mum," she snickered.
Teddy nodded at everything that she said, waiting like a 'good boy' until she was done speaking. "Play?" He asked, his eyes going to the water.

"Biwwie Boy!" Teddy practiced.
"Excellent! Just like that, Chief," Charlie gave him a tickle before turning back to Attie. "Actually, I do know some tethering spells but they're meant for kneazles and crups, not kiddies. Billy-boy went down to ward the bonfire just in case."
"She needs to be taken care of because she had an owwie. It's a good thing she had you to help her, Teddy." Charlie rolled his eyes. "You do love picking on Perce. Billiam said he wasn't sure he and Cho were coming. I might have to pull out of here in a hurry myself," he told her heading down the path from cliff to the sea with Teddy on his hip. "As if you couldn't tell from my work clothes," he winked at her, knowing she admired him in dragon hide.
"The water's too cold to play but you can play in the sand," Charlie suggested.

"Good work, all I need is for this one to catch fire or drown or for your mum to try to sneak him any more sweets."
"Big boy take care 'o his Attie." He nodded happily.
"Yes, you do look rather edible in them." She said, giving him a wink. "And there's nothing wrong with picking on Perce. Besides, in the war to keep your mum off of our backs, there must be casualties, though, with Fleur not here, it would be fun to watch Billiam deal with her inquisitions all on his own. I owe Katie a favor, so I can't sick her on George and sending her after Harry and Ginny is just evil. And Ron....well... he's Ron. I'll let your mum decide when she wants to begin in on him."
Athena used her wand to summon one of Teddy's toys out of his bag, handing it over. "No train?"
"No, baby, no train, you can play with your dragon though. And Charlie's right, sweetie, the water is too cold, you don't want to get sick do you? Have to take medicine and cold potions and eat your vegetables." Teddy shook his head furiously.
"All right then, sand it is little man. And if you can get Uncle Billi-Boy to pick you up, he had long hair that I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with." She gave Charlie a 'look'. "You know he would have done it anyway, I'm just planting the seed."
