Summary: Charlie's surprise party.

Athena hoped everything was ready. The one problem in distracting the Birthday Boy was not being there for the last minute details. She trusted George to keep everything in order; she just hoped Charlie would actually be surprised. One of the reasons she adored him was because of the way he knew her better than anyone else. Keeping this from his hadn’t been easy, simply because he knew when she was hiding things.
“I’m sorry about this love. I swear, just ten minutes to see what Rosie needs, and then we can be off for our night in London.” She told him, kissing him on the nose. She’d given him a line about Rosie calling about a spot of ‘trouble’ at the pub, such a terrible lie; he knew; he had to. He was just humoring her.
At the very least, the important part of her gift to him had been done in private.
Oh George, everyone had better be in there when I open that door, she thought to herself as they got closer to the Three Broomsticks.
