RP: A sick owl

He crawled out of bed, and made his way to the bathroom, searching for a hangover potion. He had lost count of his drinks at number 6 or was it number 5? He downed the foul stuff, and immediately felt better. After a quick shower and shave, he was ready to go downstairs to work, but he wanted to send off a quick note to Hermione. They really did need to talk, because he was confused as hell by her actions last night. She seemed to like him, but that wasn't what the owl she'd sent him back implied. He was feeling bad about all of it, and after he'd scrawled out the quick note, he called for Pig, so that he could send it.
But Pig didn't respond. Ron frowned, and went to Pig's roost to find his little owl shivering and shaking. The owl barely opened his eyes when Ron touched him, and his little beak opened to make a small squeaking noise. Ron grew immediately concerned; he had never seen Pig sick before and he moved to lift the little owl carefully into his arms. He moved across the room, and into the Floo to let George know he was taking his owl to the animal healer.
Shortly later, Ron stepped out of the Floo opening, into a small neat waiting area of McKellen, Animal Healer's offices. He looked about at the empty room, and then called out, "Hello? Is there someone about? Are you open?"
