So......yeah.
I've been baking my ass off....and that's a BUTTLOAD of baking, as you all know. Baking for friends, I am. Oh yes. You see, this Christmas, I can't afford to buy my friends presents, so instead, I'm baking them presents! Anyone and everyone who is my friend will receive a big batch of cookies and a mug of my home-made eggnog.
Unfortunately, I have to re-bake about 40 or 50 cookies because the assholes in my house decided to eat the last batch I made.
Yeah. Beautiful, ain't it?
You know, I really don't get it. I don't go around destroying the presents that they make for their friends. Is it too much to expect the same courtesy in return?
Apparently so.
You'd think that in the spirit of the holidays, they'd be even a little bit more tolerable, but no.
Well, I have to go guard the cookies that I've made so far. I'll talk to you later.
