Music that you can feel

Okay. So I'll go on and admit that I was a massive fan of Nirvana/Kurt Cobain in junior high and what little of high school I attended. I remember sitting around a table in the cafeteria in H.S. with a huge group of people with this one dude playing Nirvana songs on his acoustic and we'd all sing along. Good times. Probably my favorite memories of high school. That being said, I haven't really listened to them for a few years. I don't know if I burned myself out or just grew out of it, but I've since rediscovered them as of last night.

I totally forgot about this video. I'm almost glad for it, because it gave me a chance to react to it for the first time all over again. Not only do I really like the song and the emotion Kurt put into it, but there is a single moment at 3:58 where he looks up at the audience and the look in his eyes is indescribable. That, to me, is the look of someone who has been stripped to the bone and is about ready to give up. That's only cemented by the fact that he killed himself only about five months later.

Here's the vid. See for yourself. Even if you don't like the music (I like a surprisingly little amount of their songs), the sheer amount of emotion and pain he puts into the song is worth the watch.

P.S. Sorry if I'm clogging up your flist. I'm bored today. Can ya tell? xD

P.P.S. You can go fuck a lightpole, UMG. kthxbai
