I took my rat, Cairo, to the vet. She has pneumonia so we had to separate her from her cagemate. It's sad because she's having a really hard time breathing and I cried about it for a couple days, but now that she has antibiotics she should be just fine. The lump she has growing should be fine. The vet said that even if we did go ahead and have it removed, it would just grow right back. And on a two-year-old rat, it isn't really worth it. But my baby isn't going to die a horrible death even if I am in even more horrible debt due to vet bills. That's awesome.
