IB exams are fini!

Honestly though, as I stuck that stupid piece of string through that stupid answer booklet, I felt a little sad. Not typical end of school sadness, but very base sadness at ending a test. I like tests, especially big-deal tests that really don't matter, with invigilators and "sports top" water bottles and hush-hush-no-talkie hype. Every time I entered Davala Hall, I felt this wonderful peace as I searched the cover sheets for my candidate number. There's a beautiful focus to tests. I hate anticipating them, but once I'm in there, it's all alert, serene test-taking beauty.

And I get to write in pen, which I don't do often enough.

Band concert is on Tuesday. If you didn't know, I'm playing the Arutunian Trumpet Concerto, so come if you like.

I realize now that the importance of weekends is significantly diminished with the end of school.
