My life seems to be going well lately. I have found a fabulous guy and I am having way too much fun getting to know him. I have my house and my cat and my friends and my music...the only think getting in the way is the job. i love the job, but not so much that I need to keep stressing out about my money situation every month. I decided a while ago that after christmas I was going to start looking for something that paid a little more so that I could feel a little more comfortable with my living situation. I was telling my mom about it and she said that she would talk to her boss about possibly getting me a position in the bank. They are opening 3 more locations across Ottawa and my mom seems to think that with my customer service experience that I would be a shoe in. Not just for a teller position but for a position as a personal banker. I'd be making at least double what I'm making now and it would be(for the most part) a 9-5 job. That I could definately handle. I'm tired of going into my overdraft EVERY pay. Keep your fingers crossed for me that my mom can pull some strings.
I can't stop listening to this "City and Colour" CD. It's a solo project by the lead singer of Alexisonfire, Dallas Green, but it's SO good. it's not a thing like Alexisonfire. I got shannon hooked today and i suggest everyone else check it out. Look for the songs "Save your Scissors" or "Hello, I'm in Delaware".
