The audible click let him know all too certainly that he was free and with an ease that wouldn't have been there in any other situation he removed the cuff from his wrist and let the chain link of it gently hit the cot behind him when he tossed it. He was on his feet with seconds to spare, pulling his jacket sleeve down around where the tight metal had left its mark on his wrist. Pain medication was cleared out. Which meant only one thing - That Dean must have stored it somewhere else. Her hands went on the empty shelf and she closed her eyes, fighting back the urge to destroy everything within arm's reach. Her back was killing her, he would know she'd need the stuff ( ... )
