Geez, NaNo is hard for me this year.
Already, in the first four thousand words, I've made an about face and changed what I wanted to write about. Now, I'm writing about fantasy football, but even then, I'm finding material hard to find. I don't know if it's because I lack in the imagination department or if I just don't have the enthusiasm, but geez, it shouldn't be this hard to write. I still plan to get to 50,000 words, but I can tell this year, it won't be easy.
In the meantime, I'm looking forward to getting the election done with. I've been covering this election all the way from the primaries, 10 months now, and now it's only 48 hours from being done, thankfully. It'll be nice not to have to write Democratic presidential candidate or Republican presidential candidate 100 times a day. And, it would be nice to see someone else in the White House.
