Well this weekend instead of going to the fleamarket (since my dad was out of town and all) I went to the Abba Temple's Antique Show with Ryan. Not only did we find lots of interesting old stuff, but I made the best deal in a long time. A woman had a big box of comics priced at $1 each, which was already a bargain. I picked out some to buy, then when I went to buy them, she said "How about the whole box for $20!" So I was like O_O and of course took that deal. Man. There were 157 comics in that box, most of which are already worth more than a dollar (especially the various X-Men comics in it). So I saved an incredible amount of comics and got a good long time's worth of reading material. Also trading material.
I finally talked to Rachael again after a long time, we're gonna try to get together and see a movie sometime and she also said she was gonna drop in on our lunch wave someday. Hope we can make room for her.
The guy I'm trading my Faker with decided to send the Jetfire and trust me to send the $20. That's amazing. I am going to send the money, of course, it's just neat he can trust me like that.
I've gotten attached to my Godzilla movies lately, and also I'm getting more interested in drawing comics. Wonder if I should look further into it.
