A new Serenity comic premieres on Dark Horse's MySpace page, and makes my day. REAVERS!
Lit 101 Class in Three Lines or Less. A story at io9 suggests that David Tennant's Hamlet may be everything we'd been hoping for, but doesn't mention the rumors that I heard from a friend of a friend of someone at the RSC, who said that the cast and crew are worried that Tennant's performance might get swalled by the great force of awesome that is Patrick Stewart. I suppose only time will tell. David, if you feel you're losing the audience, may I suggest: Expelliarmus! Worked for the real Shakespeare.
Because there just can't be enough Hamlet:
Hamlet (Facebook News Feed Edition).
A spoilery article on the new Dollhouse pilot makes the argument that while the show may be unbelievably awesome and creepy, it may be too much for Joe Q. Public to handle. My two cents? Fuck the lowest common denominator. They can go watch Dancing With the Stars. If they don't get it, too bad for them.
Have you seen Cameron? Your help is requested in the search for Cameron, missing in Los Angeles County, Calif., since approximately Nov. 2007.
Am I wrong, or wasn't there something at Polaris that said they were taping all of the main stage panels? If so, when are they gonna start posting them? If anybody knows, please tell me because I would love to see them. In the meantime,
there is a press conference with Gareth to listen to. The audio's a little off, but it works fine if you just turn the volume way up.
I've also been watching these "I'm a Marvel... and I'm a DC" shorts on YouTube all day. Hilarious.
This one is my favorite, but they're all great. Joy.
Today's AWESOME find:
Doctor Who episode guide, with bits about all the specials, and speculation about other upcoming episodes. If you're a spoiler-phobe, beware. But let me just say, if those are what the specials are, I will be OMGSOFREAKINGHAPPYLETMETELLYOUWHAT. I know I'm not alone,
lexsara and I discussed THIS EXACT THING Wednesday night. We are psychics.
Tonight's to do: Pick up Buffy #17 and Spike ATF #2 from the comic book store, then head to Barnes and Noble and pick up my special order copy of John Barrowman's autobiography. YAY JOHN! Then the only question becomes... do I read John's book tonight, or work on mine? Hmmmmm.
