You know why time travel is impossible? Because if it has been discovered (in the future) we already would've encountered people from the future in our past, except that maybe it is in a future that hasn't happened yet that time travel will be invented, or maybe on our timeline it isn't yet time for us to discover someone who is a time traveler, that we will discover it in our future.
