"Don't Be A Stranger"

Halloween was spent tonight with my favorite cousin Jordan haha. Naw, but I had a good time even with the option of going to other places and getting wasted or partying, this one was for Jordan. At first I didn't know what to do, nor did I have any other plans but to party, but Family first right? Anyway, when I got there Jordan was Clark Kent (Superman) and the rest of his cousins were pretty much just whatever. I liked his cousin Justin's costume, it made me laugh as soon as I saw. While waiting for anyone else to arrive before we go on our big 'trick-or-treat' hunt, Jordan and I along with his younger cousin JR decide to go on a little hunt by ourselves.

My cousin Jameson came along with, I guess, their new puppy which was very small at size still two months of age. I haven't gone trick-or-treating since last year, and that's pretty long! I managed, however, to pull up some candy even without a costume. Honestly, 50$ for a costume isn't worth buying unless you use it to the advantage of showing up to a costume party/Halloween party, at least in my opinion.

After, we headed back from a quick 10-15 minutes up and down the hills of Jordan's neighborhood. The houses around there are like the show MTV's Cribs , they have gates, they have the cars, for christ sake they even have cameras lol. So as soon as we came back, I thought it'd be a good idea to grab a bite to eat considering that our journey, or candy-hunt if you will might be a bit long. The group was awesome, filled with lots of energy, humor, and spirit. I loved every moment of it, especially the fact that I got to bonding with my family/family friends again. Nothing surely does it like having to talk to my cousin about the rules and deals of life on his birthday.

As we rolled out we had to take two cars, despite what Chantal says about her Yukon, I had a clear doubt in my mind that it would not work, so we ended up going with Inda. The group consisted of Jerrie, Jennifer, Glen, Jeremy, Jenessa, JR, Jordan, Peter, Inda, Jeremiah, his special friend Lisa, and Chantal.
It was crazy having to follow that Yukon, with Jerrie sitting in the passenger seat instructing Chantal where to go. Imagine a large SUV filled with a bunch of people cutting corners with some cars not even being able to do that, yeah. Candy thrown (not me), getting scared by the suburbs' decorations and themes, seeing all those rich and expensive houses on the hill, fruit roll-ups, and having to say "you have the best house" to every house we passed was truly an adventure.

Also, because we had a good group, should have/could have had more, and that the night ending not too late still in one piece with my mind straight and sober. This turned out to be a memorable Halloween, as always is with a fun and exciting group of kids that can't act straight, that won't act straight and that carries candy in pillow cases, Happy Birthday to my cousin Jordan.

Damn I lost my glasses AGAIN -_-
