MARI AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY
I have been on the job hunt for the past few months, I did take a job at a shitty call center that only lasted for 28days. I decided to go and apply in person at a small chocolate factory on monday . I did the application and had a 5min interview, Then Don the owner says "You want to put on an apron and we will see what happens." :) GREAT!!! I got the job. He showed me around and I grabbed an apron, He put me to work.
It is a chocolate lovers dream to work in a chocolate factory, I LOVE CHOCOLATE!!! The bad thing is I can't eat any of it. :( The whole time I was there, I was dreaming about sitting under the machine that covers the truffles, pretzels, you name it and it covers the item in chocolate. Monday I was there for about 5hrs. Tuesday I was off, it was Rosh Hashanah. Wednesday full day 9am till almost 5pm. Today I went in to make up some hours for Tuesday 9am to 2pm. Things I have done at the shop, I have wrapped chocolate tamales, packaged chocolate covered pretzels, packaged chocolate truffles.YUMMY. Oh yeah, Don comes over to me yesterday and hands me a tray full of little chocolate squares and some red and orange foils. He tells me there are about 300 milk chocolate and 300 dark chocolate squares can you foil them for me. I was thinking, "man, Im used to taking the wrapper off not putting the wrapper on." ;)
Well that is all for now, I will post more later. So far so good, by the way did I mention that I LOVE CHOCOLATE.
