Weekend wrapup
Had an awesome weekend. hung out with sarah and tung friday... ben,amanda and Kelly came over later in the night as well. we watched Ju-On and then some Sealab 2021. couldn't ask for much more as far as good times go. i remember a few years ago when the weekend was just the time to go out and hangout at the bar, or get tanked over a friends house. i'm so glad i'm done with that. i am 1,000X happier doing things like this.
saturday went to mongolian bbq with my friend matt and sarah. pigged out like usual. i could eat there everyday. after that i went to the VFW for the show. i'm not sure who breathed (poor grammar?) the life into the scene, but there were tons of kids there all having fun. there were like 15 year old girls i've never seen before singing the ATF lyrics alone in the back. pretty amazing if you ask me. there may be new kids on the block but i'm all for it as long as they are not pricks.
sunday i wasted by sleeping in until like 3:30. i got up at like 12 and was gonna go to see search bloc in canton, but I just wasn't feeling it. went back to bed and woke up at 3:30. i watched george mason beat connecticut and then the cavs win in overtime. can't bitch about that.
I'm hoping to have a good week ;-)
oh yeah, this is kind of random, but Andy from ATF is seriously a stand up dude. i don't know him all that well, but he is always super nice to me. he always manages to say something super nice and positive in the 1 minute we converse. everybody should take a lesson from him. in our one minute of BSing he said "steve, you're looking good man. best looking dude in here." even if he said that to every person in there, who cares. it was a nice thing to say and honestly cheered me up. random acts of kindness go a long way. i'm gonna look into being more positive... it can only do the world good.
