(no subject)
havent updated in a while... but lets get everyone up to date.
Softball ended. atleast the summer league we were in. I miss my tuesday - thursday games and my dose of the lovely Katie that I would get. but its still ok... cause we still have a few tournaments comming up that i'm looking forward too. we ended the summer league 7-4-1. which isn't bad. we havent won any tournamemnts but we came pretty close in a few of them. Mainly 2nd and 3rd place.
Works not bad either. I love it there still. there's a lot of drama going on at work, but there always is isnt there? Jen hasn't showed up the last few days for work. today is the day she gets her check... she'll be fired if she comes back. she really left everyone in a bad posistion by not showing up. Diane and I are super close now and i love it. shes like my mom whos not my mom.
I found out that Mr. Paxton died the other day. He was my 5th grade teacher. He made a major impact on my life. He gave me my first O. Henry book, my favorite author. He encouraged me to read, and he pushed my limits while he was my teacher. Even after I left McDivitt, I would go back and visit him just to see how he was. He was always so nice. And always asking if i was still reading. They are having a memorial service for him tomorrow, and I want to be there. unfourtunatly, I have to work. hopefully i can switch hours with someone so i'm able to go. I was devasted when I found out. Ray was pretty upset too. And steve wouldnt talk to anyone for a while... Mr. paxton made impacts on their lives also.
Onto a lighter note... Mercedes came up on sunday. I havent seen her since spring break. I missed her so much! we've gone to the mall, movies and today i think we're heading to Great adventure. Yesterday was also my one year anniversary with Eric. Since mercedes was up, and we wanted to hang out on our anniversary, we introduced her to Mike. They hit if off right away. I was thrilled about it. Eric gave me a beautiful necklace from tiffany's, that everyone will see me wearing. but becuase mike and sadie were there yesterday, Eric and I are gonna actually celebrate our anniversary next week when we both have a day off and sadie and mike arent around. We still had a blast though. ^_^
today if we dont end up going to Great Adventure, we'll probably end up going to the mall again to return a few things, and then back to eric's house to hang out with Mike and eric. I'll update on that later tonight or tomorrow. this summer has been great so far. better then last summer. I hope it continues this way for the rest of the summer.
