Jill was always a happy kid. You know, the kind you would meet in every neighborhood of SimEarth; cute blonde girl with pigtails and freckles on the top of her nose - never too pretty, but never really ugly. Not brainy, but not daft as well. Perfectly average, Jill Smith was born to be a girl next door. Except that she never was one.
Yes, she lived in the suburbia of Strangetown and her mother really was the person everyone in town would wish for their mother. Her older brother's friends would always stay for dinner and sometimes even, if it came to Ophelia - Johnny's girlfriend, sleepover. Jill's mother, Jenny, made the best burgers in whole town and she was widely known as the kindest nurse in Hospital of Strangetown.
But Jill's father had green skin and that meant a lot those days. Between everything else, it meant her dad was responsible for few male pregnancies that have been happening for a while before he settled on Earth and met Jenny. No one blamed him publicly, everyone kept smiling and admiring his particularly green lawn (something impossible for a desert town like Strangetown) occasionally feasting on his barbecue parties.
But things didn't stay well for a long time.
It began happening maybe a few months after Jill left for university. Rain slowly began to come down on Strangetown even more frequent than it used to - it was a miracle if they had twenty rainy days per year. Now the rain kept going for weeks. And the worst thing was that not even climatologists had explanation for it. People began spreading rumors that it was a sign of new alien invasion or it was another Strangetown army's project - even deadlier than the last one.
With Jill's brother far away in SimCity, she was the only one left to take care of their parents. Jill was quick to leave university behind and move back to Strangetown, participating in project of bringing peace to Strangetown.
While she was in university, Strangetown became a war zone - many battles were soon to be fought between Army of Strangetown and peaceful aliens that inhabited desert oasis.
And Jill knew her place very well. She had been, after all, a part alien, threatened to lose her own - and the lives of her loved ones if the conflict escalated. So she signed up for Alliance army consisted of Strangetown aliens and all the people that simply wanted peace. On the other side were remnants of once almost peace-bringing town's army that had been torn apart with death of it's general Buzz Grunt, and on the other was Alliance.
But the saddest thing was how nobody even had the slightest idea how big things were going to grow.
