DENIED!!!!!
Pearl Jam tickets went on sale this morning at 10:00 a.m. I was refreshing the ticketmaster page continually from 9:58 a.m. The second the ticks went on sale, I entered 3, hit "buy tickets" and it said "searching". Within less than 1 mintue, I was brought to a page that said Ticketmaster couldn't find that many tickets. The clock on my computer only said 10:01 a.m.
I tried for 3 tickets once more and then I tried for just 1. It wasn't even 10:05 a.m. on my clock and not even 1 ticket was available....the damn show was sold out. I was really looking forward to getting tickets and seeing Pearl Jam live again. They put on an amazing live show.
When I first heard Pearl Jam were doing a Canadian tour I got pretty excited. They are playing 4 shows in a rather close proximity to me, one in Toronto, one in Hamilton (close to my work), one in London (where Kim lives) and one in Kitchener (where I live). My initial plan was to try for the Kitchener show, then if I got nothing, to try and get ticks in London, then Hamilton if need be and finally Toronto if all else had failed. Unfortunately, they thwarted my plan by having the tickets for all 4 shows go on sale at the same damn time. I knew they'd sell fast and that I'd really only have one shot at getting tickets. I did try for London and Hamilton but by then it was after 10:05 and I wasn't surprised to see that they were sold out too.
Damn....that would have been so sweet to see them in Kitchener. I've never been to the Kitchener Memorial Arena before, but it's rather close to where I live and we could have walked there. :o(
