90s Witchy T.V. Shows and Movies Aesthetic

I can't say enough good things about Sabrina the Teenage Witch. It's one of my comfort shows and I've watched it through about 10 times. I love the show with Sabrina and her wacky Aunts. I love the way Sabrina tries to negotiate life with her witchy powers. I especially like when they visit the other realm. So many fun imaginations and daydreams of magical powers to be had.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is another one of my favorite t.v. shows. I especially like that it is set in high school in Southern California. I love the cheesiness of the lines and even sometimes the vampires. I was always a fan of Spike. I really felt he added an element of danger, and he was often times really funny. I liked Buffy's friends Willow and Zander. I thought they were a "Scooby" type of gang to Buffy, and I liked all the shenanigans they got into. My favorite character of course is Faith and there was a time that I owned every single episode she was in. She was fun addition to the t.v. show even if she was a bit dangerous. I remember one night after Rocky Horror at the local Denny's getting into a conversation with a girl there who was all dressed up. She kept commenting to her friend, "I just want to go home and watch Buffy". My best friend Gabber and I use to make jewelry at her place and watch Buffy. I have several of the books such as: The Harvest, Halloween Rain, The Faith Trials, The Cordelia Collection, The Wisdom of War, and The Book of Fours. That show has so much nostalgia for me.

The Craft is a special movie for me. In high school there was a group of four of us and each of us was a character from the movie. I went to a Christian school and our group were even called "the witches" like in the movie. We wore all black and white with rosary beads and crosses. We loved that movie. I felt a kinship with the characters because I was also at a religious school, in high school, and wanted to be a witch. I started reading all the books I could find about Witchcraft at my local library and bought my first the raider tarot reading cards. I also own this movie.

Practical Magic was also a special movie for me. I have watched it several times and it's such a classic for me. I also have ready the book Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman.  I have also read The Book of Magic as well. I love the setting of the movie and everyone including me wants to live in that big house where the aunts live. I can't wait for Practical Magic 2. I wonder if it will follow the books at all or if there will be a completely different script. We will have to wait and see.
