The simple life

Life is good. Fantastic wind and weather! So the team didn't do overly well, but I had a blast. Last night was.....well it was. I most definitely had a blast, and there are so many stories (about everybody else, of course) that I wouldn't know where to begin. I debated going for the longest time, but ended up staying an hour later than I planned. Still working on the whole dancing thing. I have good rhythm, but just don't enjoy dancing so much. Maybe it's all in having the right partner and I just haven't found one yet. I enjoy dancing with some people for a little while, but eventually I just want to move on. I'll have to do that again sometime.

This new found freedom that I've found, or maybe been given, has been very liberating. I think that this last week has been one of the best ever, and I think that it's only going to get better. Between hearing from Amanda, and Katiann's contagiously good humor (even when she's sleepy!) life and its simple pleasures could not be more sublime. I smile more and laugh more boisterously. My job seems simpler and all of my school work just fades into a hazy blur. I think that my priorities are so close to being right.

Now if only the apartment would clean itself.

I hope that everybody had a fantastic weekend! I should have people to share the joy with. Smiles exude more love than any other expression.
