I forgot to mention a smell issue we had at our place a week or so ago. So when I had a bunch of girls over my place to hang out, I was the only one who did not chain smoke for hours (because I don't smoke). The following day, I went out into our living room and there was a really odd smell in the air. I thought it was just cigarette smoke so I opened a window for awhile sprayed some stuff in the air and went about my business. A day or so later the cigarette smell was gone, but another foul smell was still in the air. I went to Misha's cage, it wasn't her. She just smelled, well, like a hamster. I sat down at my computer, which was in the living room, to write one of my papers but I just couldn't concentrate... uck! the stench! So I grabbed Nick's flashlight and decided to look under the couch, built in books shelves, behind the guitars, etc. in the living room and lo and behold... a dead, rotting mouse in a trap! After we had gotten Misha we went throught he house and dismantled all the traps. Unfortunately, when you live in an urban area that is nothing but row houses, mice can be a big issue, and they're virtually impossible to get rid of. We wouldn't want our ham ham to get caught in one of the traps if she were to accidentally escape, but apparently, we missed one. Blech. Nick got it out and took it outside, while I burned some potpourri and yanked the windows open for some fresh (but very cold) air. And that, is my bad smell story.
The end.
