Oh, I'd love to see something like this happen between Harry and Ginny in canon! The main thing I like about Ginny in OotP is her "take no shit" attitude.

Remus is-have you even looked at his face? Or at Tonks...

This paragraph brought tears to my eyes as well as to Ginny's and Harry's.

What I like about the fic as a whole is the fact that "okay" is about the best we can hope for Harry (and the rest of them) by the end of book 7.

I've left feedback for you in various places in the past, so I popped in here to see if you'd posted anything new, and found this! Great writing, yet again :).

As always, this was perfection. Ginny is so exactly how I picture canon!Ginny to be, insightful and thoughtful and spunky, and Harry is sullen and withdrawn in the best possible way.
