classes.
So far, I've had about 3 1/2 days of class since last wednesday. But it's enough to judge how my classes are.
Physics is... physics. The professor can't speak english very well, and he explains things in a way too complicated manner. It doesn't take much to explain the difference between distance and displacement. Jeez.
Social Psych is wonderful. The teacher is great and the class seems pretty easy. But I didn't expect a hard class at all. At least I don't get bored in the class.
Acting is very strange. Our teacher is cool, and we're a classful of strangers, so hyper teacher plus indifferent students equals awkwardness. It's fun though, and hopefully all the weird activities we do won't be weird after a while.
Music. Both the practice room building and my viola teacher are making me really angry. The practice room building is not issuing lockers "until further notice". I have to carry around my heavy viola all around campus almost everyday, even though they HAVE many lockers available in the music school. Screw the music school administration. I don't like carrying heavy things in the heavy humid outdoors. :/
I wanted to get into a small ensemble, like a quartet or trio, instead of the retarded big ensemmble that everybody gets into if they're not in a small ensemble. This year, I have a class at the same time that the chameleon ensemble rehearses. I told my teacher last year that my class would conflict with the ensemble times, and she told me that that would'nt be a problem. Well, I was put in the chameleon ensemble, but I have no way of attending the rehearsals, since I have a class at the same time. She just told me to see if the ensemble is still rehearsing when I get out of my class. Then umm, how am I supposed to attend rehearsals for my second ensemble? That solution was just so retarded, and she wouldn't say anything else when I asked her about it, so whatever. We'll see tomorrow. Stupid music school.
I have a job, of course, and I just got hours yesterday for next week. I won't be broke this year!!
SWEAT RECORDS THIS SATURDAY. Vegan festival, music by me and a few others, art, politics, etc etc. 5-10 pm. :) Come by!
My books haven't been shipped to me yet. It's my first time ordering online, and I ordered before school started. Grr.
