I'm a nerd again. My Garden State torrent is now at 50%, I did chemistry problems for leisure today, and I saw the star wars movie tonight.
Yup, I TOTALLY saw star wars tonight. I was randomly offered a movie ticket last night, so I shrugged and agreed to see it.
I never was a star wars fan; never saw episodes 4, 5, and 6 as a child, never read books, never bought toys... etc. I probably saw Episode 1 on a bus ride to orlando. And actually I did like a certain star wars game for N64 back in 6th grade. But that's about it.
WELL.
I really thought Episode III was amazing. Wow. Psh, like I would ever say something like that about star wars. But seriously, wow. Seeing star wars at the movie theatre (especially at sunset) was way different than seeing it on a 9 inch screen. The effects were awesome, of course, the movie was corny as hell, and the storyline was so catching. I was so into it.
First off...
1) Anakin (hayden christensen) was teh SEX. WAS HE NOT
2) Lightsaber action was really cool. I want one.
3) Yoda is freakin awesome.
4) Padmé was played by natalie portman. <3333
5) WHY ANAKIN WHY *sob*
6) I was at the edge of my seat. It was pretty emotional (as a result of excessive corniness)
7) It wasn't too long... but I wouldn't have minded actually
Man, the movie was so corny. The things they would say to each other in the movie... made me want to cringe. This movie would be made so much fun of...
But it all makes sense now. I now know story behind the "Luke, I am your father" thing. And what a Jedi and a Sith are. And the relations between everyone. And where the hell chewbacca came from. I must see episodes 4, 5, and 6 now. torrent torrent torrent
I highly recommend this movie for anyone... fans and non fans. It was great. Thanx tam.
