Wrap-Up / End of an Era / Final Crisis: Remix / Twilight of the Gods / Closer
Well, it's been five years since I started this and I knew if I didn't make an update today to mark the occasion it would have nagged at me over time. In fact, this journal has been something that pops up in my head from time to time and it kind of bugs me that it does. So, out of an urge to wrap up loose ends, I am officially ending this thing.
I graduate college this year and I take pride and embarrassment in my various entries over the years. Overall I believe I should feel much more embarrassed than anything else, but whenever I see this certain excited spark in something I wrote it makes me feel both nostalgic and a little proud, too. "Man, who is this guy?!" probably describes both ends of the spectrum pretty well.
Anyway, this journal was started by young man (a punk-ass 16 year old) and is being ended by a slightly older young man (an old-ass 22 year old). Same guy, but different, I guess. I'll try to end this in a way which'll hopefully be similar in tone to how this was created.
