Come With Us As We Conquer Other Planets / Through Time And Space The Forbidden Galaxy
I guess it is time for an update. School is out and I am back in town, thought it appears that many of "the boys" will not, in fact, be back in town. THIS SADDENS ME. Anyway, I've been in town since Friday and haven't really seen anyone since I got here. What I am saying is lets do something friday evening!
Other news:
- I lose my 3.0 cumulative this semester!
- I start my job as a janitor tomorrow! 7:30 to 4:00!
- I've been listening to Danny Elfman's soundtrack to the film The Forbidden Zone, which is pretty quirky and where the title of this entry come from.
- Biked to Nevada on Monday but it sucked because it was really windy.
More important news:
- New livejournal icon for the first time in forever. It's Mr. Miracle and he has a neat costume and is all about women who are taller than him (I am also all about this, though Big Barda is like seven feet tall BUT I DIGRESS [and am super lame]). The facial expression is also hilarious.
There is not much else new in my life as of late, though. I went to a fun Kentucky Dirby party and it was nice to get some attention from a lady but other than that it has been kind of ho-hum as I didn't get to see Emileigh, my good friend at Iowa (I will not say best friend in case you, my dear readers, are the jealous type like me), very much at all during Finals Week and now she is off intern-ing in California.
Might see a movie with Ellen this week? Might Spider-Man 3 soon? Might stop using fake bullet points in order to make a more professional looking entry?
Fun Janitor Story: This shit job has not even started yet, but halfway during my interview yesterday someone came in and they started talking about cleaning some tiled floor and the lady interviewing me said to the other person "Try using some bleach first. I found it was really good at getting out that pee-pee smell". I am looking forward to this job in a really perverse way, like it is a punishment of sorts for myself? There should also be a lot of downtime hopefully, I am kind of a hard worker sometimes?
