SORRY DUDEZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I will not be coming up this weekend as I have Mono. I guess I have had it for a while but have not felt sick/tired enough to get my ass tested for it. I also have this gross sore throat thing going on which is the reason I went to Student Health in the first place.
Good: I am back on the road to good health, the people there were very friendly, and the supervising physicians last name was Chackalackal (which is awesome). I also do not have to go to my trombone lesson as this is a good excuse for not attending and WILL be able to go to some garage sales this weekend.
Not so good (Bad?): I will not be able to go to Minnesota this weekend. I am still sick. I have to go back tomorrow because there might be an abscess on my right tonsil and if there is one they will have to drain that crap surgically. I was also told if it gets so bad tonight that I am drooling since it will be too painful to swallow I should go to the ER, but it probably won't come to that. I get to have this conversation with Emileigh, who would suggest that I had mono after I would occasionally remark on my last month or more of poor health. I would then tell her that I did not feel ill enough to have mono and didn't want to clog up the already busy student health people. Anyway, it'll go something like this..
Me: So I have Mono!
Emileigh: I told you that you should have gotten tested for it weeks ago.
Me: You were right.
Anyway, gonna go get my prednisone from the pharmacy soon so have a fun day.
