He could look more aggressive than anyone I've met, but I never saw him angry at anyone.
His aikido was crisp and precise, and he knew that eventually ours would be too.
He influenced my life in so many ways that I can't describe his effects on me. He was my teacher and my friend, and he pushed me to be better in my aikido and my life.
He died Monday from complications of a heart attack, at only 53 years old.
I'll miss him.
