... gotta say, by the time your story progressed to forty five to fifty five, I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue because I can sense the impending old age just grinding them back to the ground, even though they refused to be clobbered by old age itself. ;A; Beautiful, though♥ I really loved it. <3 I really liked this. I can just imagine the two of them sitting on a park bench, Squalo leaning just slightly against Xanxus, Xanxus tolerating it because he knows that if he pushes him away Squalo will be the loudest one in the dog park again and they'll be kicked out, meanwhile the sound of one very aggressive dog and one wailing child is heard in the background. Lovely<3

The very last part of your fic inspired me. Although, it’s only one, there are different versions of the “illustrations“, if you can call them that lol.
