......I stayed up all night on the 7th-I was awake for more than 24 hours by the time I took a nap yesterday.
The last night I ate a ton of pasta and pesto,bread and butter, 5 Hoegaardens(Gand Cru-yum), 2 choc.puddings, a bit of spinach and potatoes.
I talked w/ Boris Plesa for awhile.We got along very well. It was funny because the other day when I was hanging out w/Goran,Kreso and Boris, Boris hardly said a word.Then we talked (altogether) for about 4-5 hours.He said I had entered his microcosmos-whichof course sounds hilarious-but sensible in his Croatian accent.Turns out he has been a phootgrapher, loves Jim Jarmusch movies and Tom Waits,and has a good sense of humour-amongst other things.He told me I must be partially Croatian because I was so funny."No American would be so funny"I don't know why it seems like a good thing but almost everyone I met didn't think I was American at first and when they knew they'd say I didn't seem American. One girl,Maria,Anna's friend(they're both Icelandic but Maria is living in Barcelona currently)said I was very European-she compared me to and American friend she had and said I seemed far more outgoing,fun,etc..apparently not American traits.ha.My foot keeps falling asleep. ............
