V for Vendetta
Hello fellow Portlanders. I just joined this community although I've lived off and on in the Portland area for 11 years that I can remember. 14 years if you count time before I can remember.
I have a V for Vendetta mask, wig and hat. I'm thinking about putting together a large order from the manufacturer and getting a lot of the masks. Come Halloween I might go around and hand out fliers along with other people wearing the masks. November 5th, we have another event where a large number of people walk around in the masks as a group, and then disperse.
Is anyone else interested? I wouldn't mind ordering 20 or so masks, but 100 masks might require a bit of a joint effort made soon. I'd like to do a $10 deposit or something for the masks, and if the mask is returned then the $10 is given back at the end of the evening.
Other ideas for events would be wearing the masks on election day a week later, but that depends on what we think it would accomplish, the mood, previous successes, etc.
I'm also in just being social with other people from Portland.
